I work with layers of glass, enamels, foils and wires to create richly textured pieces of fused glass. I manipulate the glass before and after firing so that I can control the formation of textural bubbles within the design.

My designs form a visual diary and are largely inspired by the colours and textures of the surrounding urban and rural landscapes. Within each of my designs I have a number of available products, from wall art, through to freestanding sculptural pieces and minature accessories.

Glass design has played an important part in my family since the 1950's.  Cecil Brusey, emigrated from Dublin and established a successful glass studio in Aptos, California. Cecil then introduced me to glass working techniques in 1992.

In addition to working with glass, I practiced law for a number of years before establishing my own glass studio in 2002. My studio is based in the north west of England, mid way between Liverpool and Manchester.
